Question about kicker zx750.1...

I am getting my TC sound 10 oem in the mail on tuesday. I was going to get the hifonics bxi1606d for it but i am seeing people's opinions on it and they aren't to great. I see people recommending the kicker 750. The hifonics is rated 1100 x 1 rms @ 2ohms and the kicker is 750 x 1. What would be the better amp for this sub in anyones opinion. The sub is 800 watts rms.

One other question. If i order it online, some local places i been to say the online retailers aren't authorized dealers so the warranty on them will be void. Is this true? For instance i am looking at onlinecarstereo and they have it for $277. Have people bought amps from them, if so has anything gone wrong where you have to return it and is it under warranty. Keep in mind the sub is 800 W RMS but 2000 W max. It can handle well over 1000 W.

I bought a zx1000.1 on Ebay from Sonic Electronix refurbished and it came with a 90 day warranty. I figure that will cover any DOA issues and I saved a substantial amount over new. My birthsheet shows 1120 W. I've seen the 750.1 as high as 900+ W.

No warranty is a gamble so you have to weigh the risk vs cost savings. It looks like Kicker is a solid company so I hopefully won't need a warranty.

I paid 210 for my 750.1 on ebay from woosatech and my birthsheet said 930 watts. The Kickers are underated and Hifonics are overated.

Yeah i just looked up their page. They got a new 1000 for $331 plus 25 shipping (30 day warranty). Still cheaper then onlinecarstereo at 378 including shipping,but they have a 1yr warranty, of course both are their own warranties not from kicker.. But then hifisound has a refurb for 301 including shipping and they are a authorized kicker dealer and have a 90 day warranty. Well i ended up getting the one at hifi since they deal with kicker. Hope all turns out well. Has anyone dealt with them before?
