Question About JL W7 10" purchase

Me and my friend were having a discussing about the JL W7 10" he purchased. It came in the JL power wedge box and he paid $450 dollars for it. I figured that wasn't a very good deal. Should he return the sub or do you all believe that it was a good investment?

i believe thats a typical price for one and if thats what he wants he should keep it....on the other hand i know better ways to drop $450

That is a pretty good deal since the sub alone is usually over $400.

Is it new? Thats a **** GOOD deal. I wouldnt pay it, but for a 10W7 WITH a JL box, you wont find much better. The question is will he appreciate a sub such as a W7.
