Question about JL Audio

I have two questions i appreciate any feedback

1) Which subs do you guys suggest would be better 1-12" JL W7 or 2-12" JL W6??

2) What JL amp would be the best for these set ups i dont know a whole lot about amps so im not sure which one would best suit either of these

For any of these setups, I would suggest the 1000/1. For the subs, either is good, but to be louder I would say 2 12" W6 properly ported would be louder.

this question has been asked many many many times.... do a search.... you need to come to that conclusion on your own and its hard for anyone to help without any information like a vehicle, budget and what your looking for in a system...

sorry i have an 1998 Acura integra and using a pioneer 9800 stereo my budget is not a problem im willing to spend as much as i need for any of these set ups and to be honest im new to the whole car audio thing so i dont really know what to expect from either of these but if you guys have any other suggestions of subs that are equally/better i appreciate it

Exactly. If you don't have much problem with funding. I would suggest the 2 W7's. We need to know what exactly you're looking for in the audio setup in your car. If you want SQ, I'd go with JL Audio. If you want to be ridiculously loud, look into brands like Digital Designs, FI Car Audio, and the like. Search the forum here before you go spending a lot of money on something you MAY or MAY NOT be satisfied with. I've got 2 Digital Designs 8's in my car, and I would never think two 8's would be so loud, in a trunked car.

2w6s IMO. I go for overall sound over output. I would probably even go for one w6 though as that is plenty for me.

get 2 w6s i had one in for a while runnin off a 500/1. but i wanted more slap so i got another 500/1 and a w6. slaps harder than just one w7

get a 1000/1, a 13w7, port it and call it a day

the 13's are way louder and not much bigger

i recently got back into the hobby after a few years. you can get way better sounding and quality subs for less. same with the amps. i personally switched from a 12w6v2 to a TC3000 12" hybrid after reading up on here and i am very very happy i did so. thats my personal opinion tho... i know i will get flamed for this but, i honestly think the one TC3000 would probably sound better than two 12w6's. but that's just my ears. i've had people recently ask me if i have two 12's or one 15. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
