Question About Infinity Subwoofer

What does anyone think of the Infinity (1230) 12" subwoofer...I plan on getting two of those and the Audiobahn (A4002) 2-channel amp...so any thoughts on those would be greatly appreciated

i think that they ****, but i've never been 2 impressed with infinity.

I had 3 of them in my last car, my friend had 2 Reference 10's in his MX-6, and another friend has two Reference 10's in his Civic and I've been impressed with all of them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to someone looking for a budget subwoofer with excellent sound quality and the ability to get decently loud.

i'm going to be starting a system though for the first time...and my friend had like two 12" sony's with a sony amp...and i was real impressed with those...and its a pretty average install...so am i gonna like the sound of two infinity 1230's

that is funny, I install at a circuit city here in cincy, and yes, I agree, reference subs ****, but it's not the company who installs... so please don't knock on the whole company because some of the circuits have bad installers... but back to the point, that audiobahn amp will shatter those subs... because they are very sensitive to "dirty" power... if you put too much power to it, it blows, put not enough, same thing, also put the right amount of power, but DIRTY power... they will blow too...

I'm kinda partial to Zapco and Diamond amps...

those are clean amps... When it comes to subs, for infinity, I would deal with the Kappa Perfects... they can handle the power... but hey, it's all different peoples opinion, right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
