question about glassing and trim rings..

ok, about to start my first 'pretty' fiberglass box by using some fleece to stretch...question is....i see a lot of peolpe stretching the fleece, then putting trim rings on top of where they wnat it to go...my question is...how you you get the trim rings off afterwards? also, how does the fleece underneith the trim stick? is it stapled...

that is when you want to recess the subs into the top. the fleece may not stick to the ring on the inside, but the rest of the fleece around it will stay down, and not move back, then you cna glass the inside fleece down.
