ok my cd player broke it was a pioneer 7400, so im wait to get my new 1 from ikesound.. so i installed my factory 1 back in but my line converter was broke so i cut off the rcas on it and spliced them into the factory speaker wire coming out of the factory radio it works and all but it hits twice as hard now then it did when i had my pioneer? why is that? i even set of a car alarm runnin my set up like that i never did that

is this good or bad for my amps..

The reason for this is that you are pushing more signal thru the line out to the amps and the answer is no it is nto the best thing for your system tho can not hurt too bad if only for temporary. Why exactly did you have a line converter before on the system? Your head unit should have had rca outputs already.

ya it only had 1 set of rcas on it,

but seeing how the cd player broke on me i put the factory 1 back in it, and wanted to put the converter on so i have some bump in the trunk til my new 1 got here
