cookies or death??
so i was looking for an amp to run one 4 ohm idq 12. But i noticed most of the multichannel amps only have specs for bridging to 4 ohms, but not 2. is it possible? if so, how would i figure out how many watts run at 2 ohms? thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

most amps wont like being bridged at 2 ohms.

what amp are you talking about, then we can see if it will work.

if you dont have the amp i would suggest just getting a mono amp and calling it a day.

If the amp is not stable to 2ohms bridged, then you do not want to run it at 2ohms bridged.

There are, however, some 2-channel and 4-channel amps stable to 2ohms bridged, such as the older Soundstream Rubicon series, the newer Rockford Fosgate power series, the Phoenix Gold Xenon series, some older Orion amplifiers, etc.
