Question about amp.

What would be the best wires to hook this amp up to two 12" Kicker L5 Solo-barics?

should i use a 1/0 gauge ground wire and 4 gauge power cable and 12 gauge speaker wire? would that work?

us the same size wire for power and ground. might as well do 1/0 gauge. 12gauge is fine for the subs but it wont hurt to get 10

well i have 16 feet of 4 gauge power/ground wire so i was wondering if that is a strong enough power cable for the amp...and i cant seem to fit the 4 gauge wire into the fuse holder.

at the very least go to a best buy or cartoys and get a real fuse holder

for a 1000 watt amp and some 4 gauge it should be ok. However, if the op got the wire from walmart then its not true 4ga.

OP, what kind of wire is it?

Edit: after looking at the amp pic closer it looks like it comes with a 100amp fuse, so better get a 100a not 120a

youve got the right idea bro. the 4 gauge and the 120 amp fuse will be perfectly fine and even if the 4 gauge is from walmart, it will still be fine. especially since u already have it, but for the future, kicker is a great brand of wiring

okay im sorry for frustrating all you guys but i have to learn somewhere and i dont have 100 dollars to install it and id like to know how...i installed my first system just fine.

Kickerzx300.1 amp and 2 10" Kicker Comps with 8 gauge wires.

All i needed to know was what size wire and fuse to use on my new 1000.1 amp and solo barics.

4gauge for power and ground will be fine and you can use a 120a or 100a fuse for it. as for the subs use 12gauge

4 gauge wire,100 amp fuse and 12 gauge speaker wire. overkill never hurts though for future upgrades
