question about a planet audio amp

I was looking to find an amp that does 800 rms @ 2 ohms, and my friend sent me a link to a planet audio P-400.2S and said that they actually put out more than they are rated and it would do 800 rms, which I find hard to believe on this line of amps. if anyone has any experience with them or has an opinion or can link me to a beeter find thats pretty cheap it would be appreciated, thanks, Tommy

thers a link to be more specific does that amp put out 800 rms or max? My friend said planet audio rates their amps so that their max is actually rms, he had one that put out sometihng like 2250 and said his was the same way... anyone wanna provide some insight?

i have a vx400d that will put out 600watts max at 2 ohms
