Question About 4 12's

Ok I am thinking about changing my setup and doing 4 12's not sure if I want to do four kicker comp or comp vr 12's yet. Mtx 5500 series 12's also may be an option. This will be a budget system believe it or not since I can get discounts for myself on all these items. I am going to do a wall in my trans am back seat I think. Wondering if I went with dual voice coil subs if either the dvc 2 or dvc 4 could get me a 1 ohm load I have looked at wiring configurations and they confuse me seeing how I already know if I went with 4 svc 4ohm subs I would get that load so I am wondering about using dvc subs. I am going to upgrade my amp to a mtx te4001d and have the gain down low as to feed the subs 500 watts a piece or so. I know that is more than their rated wattage, but its clean power so I should be fine and if not I am buying 2 extras just in case. I have 12 guage speaker wire and 1/0 guage wire along with the big 3 done and a 250amp high output alternator from mech man so I think I should be fine in that aspect, but if not I will more than likely get a second battery for the trunk.

yes since I get a discount on it and can get it cheaper than I can get a kicker zx2500.1

oh and i owned the cvrs, they are great and ive heard the 5500s which are comparable but better sq in my opinion. im sure as hell you can find cheaper and better subs though...
