Ques. on ditching rear speakers!

I have Infinity 6.5's in the front, and Polk Dx6's in the rear. The RMS on these speakers is around 50-60W, and the JVC HU I have now currently gives each speaker about 19W RMS.

The question I had was.... If I disconnect the rear speaker outputs from the headunit, would my Infinity's up front be getting more power?

THanks

Na, each channel has seperate power thus 19x4 rms, best thing would be to pick up an amp if u have the $,u could get an inexpensive but decent 2 channel to power the front ,and use your HU to run the rears for fill.Jus my 2 cents:D

Definately get an amp for the Infinitys. I have found that it takes a good solid 35W RMS to get them to come alive. U will think they are brand new speaker when you put some power to them!!

I just bought a little Kicker 25x2 off ebay for 50 shipped...always good deals on there.
