Ok, so many of you know that i was having probs with my system. After Effing months of trying to figure it out, sending the amp back to aq, and other steps i had to take, i decided to buy some knukonceptz rcas. i put them in today and EVERYTHING works fine now. The previous pieces of S*** i had were schoche. so, dont buy crappy things and buy quality, youll be happy. well, in my case i was just lazy and didnt want to buy them till now.

I dont run anything remotely close to some of the crazy systems on this site and ive had schoche rcas crap out on me in 2 vehicles. My buddys s10 and my Jeep. Horrible.

yah dude i spent like an extra 100$ on other things trying to fix the system and it was the effing rcas

I use MONSTER cable RCA's for the sub amp and MTX "competition" RCA's on my mids amp...

the MONSTER's are fukkin huge compared to any others I have seen. I bet they are close to 8gauge per side. They are about 10 years old now but I love them and they are still perfect so... Actually the very first set of RCA cables I got when I was 16. Bought a system (Infinity 100.1se 10"s and a crossfire "200W" amp) and got the wires with it, he had the system for about 2 years so.... yeah, at least 10 years old now...

My buddy on the other hand goes through RCA's like every 6-8 months. I just recently forced him to buy a pair from KNU, the cheapest ones they have of course but it has to be better than those Wal-Mart ones he usually runs.

Yeah I'm still using the first pair of RCA's I purchased (from Knu of course) so they're probably a good 4-5 years old and still working fine.

I just recently forced him to buy a pair from KNU, the cheapest ones they have of course but it has to be better than those Wal-Mart ones he usually runs.

I've been running the cheapest Knu ones for about 3 years now...no issues. I've had some of their nicer ones sitting in my closet for over a year now, need to install those some time soon.

i bought the karma ss ones. theyre so nice.

monster makes nice ones as well, but from now on im running all knu. im planning on getting the cheaper knu ones for my crunch amp when i get some more money.

well, i was having probs with the amp going into protect every time i turned the radio on. so, i never could here my system. so, i checked my grounds, voltage, impedance, etc. it would go into protect. keep in mind, EVERYTHING i bought brand new, except the **** rcas and remote wire. so i was very frustrated bc of that. so, we came to the conclusion that the amp was messed up, so i sent it there. this problem literally had kevin from dd, dj from aq, and rusty from dc busting their brains. they told me to do all kinds of things. and nothing worked. i recieved the amp back and it still didnt work. still these three guys were with headaches trying to figure out what was happening. lol. untill today i put the rcas in, bc i just thought i would, and i was curious to see if they made anything better, and then it started working. so i told everyone what it was, and they couldnt believe that after two months of brainstorming, it was the effing rcas

Im using rockfords on my buddys s10 now and the jeep had some radioshack ones when it sold. I did knu's in my crapalier when i just did the stereo in it. Found KNU thanks to this site. Ive learned sooo much in the short time ive been on here.
