Q vs. SSD: Which is louder off equal watts?

Assuming these subs both cost the same amount of money, etc, which would actually get louder off of 600 watts?

I know 600 really isn't enough for the Q (they'll be 15's). Does this mean the ssd would be more efficient off this power and get louder?

Depends on the build. Enclosure, electrical, etc. We can't tell you that.

I know it depends on the build, i'm asking for a general idea of which is more likely to be louder. ie, if i'd be greatly underpowering that Q or not.

It'll be going in a ported box, probably around 4ft^3.

i am assuming they would be in the optimum enclosures, wouldnt the ssds get louder?

Are both loaded? If so the SSD would probably be the better choice, the Q is a more SQ oriented sub than the SSD anyway.

I would assume the ssd. IIRC Scott mentioned last time the Q has the lowest efficiency

Thanks guys! Those are the exact answers I was looking for. Looks like i'll be going with the ssd (or possibly re se, since i've heard they're very simliar).

Then again why would you put 600w on the Q?
