Just picked up a monster.

This sub is a HDC motor on a Treo CSX basket. Thats means 10" spider.

I need to find a re-cone for this, anyone have any ideas where I could get one for cheapish? Also, any suggestions on a box?

Like I said in my thread you can contact woofercooker or teampsi on here. Maybe even FI. I had the sub in 6 cubes @ 34 and it was loud and got pretty low.

larger spiders gets you more excursion will less stress on the spiders...

That depends if the sub is motor limited or suspension limited. Going to a larger spider does not ensure more linear excursion. It does allow for a larger voice coil however.
