I have a solo-x 12 running now on a Hifonics Bxi2006D. this amp is running my sub at 2ohms 1300rms... but i cant wire my sub to run at 1ohm without 2 amps. What type and how powerfull of a second amp would i need to get to run my sub at 1 ohm safely wich is 2500rms

The Hifonics i have now is a mono amp and has a peak of 4000w

1ohm- 2000rms

2ohm-1300rms

I dont get it, u mean u have dual 1 ohm voice coils and are running them in a series to 2 ohms on the amp right now? U can always get another Bxi2006D and wire 1 amp to each voice coil, but make sure u set ur gains right.
