Pyramid AMPS, are they any good????????

I bidded on a Pyramid Super Blue 1000watt 2 channel amp on ebay, but a short time later heard from a friend that there weren't good at all. The thing is that another friend of mine has the same amp and i works great. HELP ME OUT HERE.

I wouldn't even take a pyramid amp if it was free. Unless I wanted to sell it to somone for $5.00

It will work fine. The only problem is that it will be grossly over-rated. Plan on 75x2 or so @ 4 ohms instead of the 125 or whatever it lists.

I would never buy pyramid anything. I remember a few years ago a friend of mine had 2 pyramid 12s with a shitty jensen amp pushing them and they sounded like a wet dog fart.
