I have been told that Pyle Audio is horrible but after much research regarding these products and reading reviews I found these to not be so bad to purchase. I love bass but don't need to rattle windows or houses when im driving down the streets of Brooklyn. What do you think about this set up? Will it give me a decent amount of Bass and power? Thanks in Advance.

Welcome to the forum! It's nice you have found the go-to guide for car audio in Caraudio.com. I want to take a second to let point you in the direction of the Search button at the top of your screen. It will give a better idea of the answers you are about to receive. And again, welcome

whats the over all budget that your trying to work with, im sure we can come up with something that will last a little wire longer than that pyle crap and also sound better (not necessarily louder since thats not what your going for) than what you have listed.

I don't want to spend over $500 (Speakers and Amps) bucks for this stereo. As I said I am not looking to blow the windows out of my jeep just something that will sound much better than the factory setup. I dont have obnoxious subwoofers to power nor want them. I am powering the 300 Watt woofers by PYLE that are going in my back doors.

My main concern was overheating, which I have read that a lot of amps do.

I see everyone harping on the PYLE products what do you all think of the Boss Amp?

Max Power Rating:

Note the word "Max". Max ratings are complete BS and hardly ever true. That amp *maybe* does like 1000w @ 2 ohms. They are highly overrated. What kind of music do you listen to? If you aren't looking to be rattling windows, chances are you don't even need 1800w in the first place. Getting a smaller, more efficient setup would be the right route to go

I listen to R&B, Industrial, Classical, EBM, Rap, Hip Hop and Pop.

But as I said I don't want Miami Bass, or Bass that rattles my whole car. It tends to be annoying. I want something a little more powerful than the factory set up

Ive read the reviews about the MAX ratings so I was aware of that and chose this amp because it is powerful enough to power the 300 Watt Mid Bass Woofer (150 watt RMS@ 2ohm).

I see you have Lanzar speakers, which I have heard folks trash just like Pyle products. So its like a catch 22 here.

You were doing so well, and getting some good info to help you out. The last person on the forum to harass about info on equipment is kangaroux. I wouldn't get so defensive, just be willing to hear some options, and understand that not everything is built the same, even from the same company. i think you have a good chance of finding the info you need, I hope the best in this regard.

I think you're confusing not wanting super loud bass, with not wanting a quality product. To just add a little punch I'd pick up an SSA Dcon and run it sealed, And an amp like this: Aura RPM5350 RPM Stage 2 Mobile Amplifier 4x50W + 1x150W 269-191, and some component speakers for the front like this, Aura 5000RPM 5-1/4" 2-way Component Speaker Pair 269-180, and maybe a set of coaxials for the rear. And you're done. well under your $500 budget, with quality equipment at an affordable price. That amp will power 4 speakers and a sub.

Me getting defensive no not at all. I deal with rabid wolves all day at work. So getting defensive wouldnt help at all.

I'm the one asking for help so how would getting defensive help me? I need help not giving anyone attitude.

Don't know where you got that I was being defensive, but words on the internet sometimes come off a different way.

I just said the word PYLE and that was it. Phoenix Risen and Kangaroux are the only ones on this thread with helpful answers.

I'm not harassing Kangaroux, at all.

Honestly I was going to by a pair of Lanax 2 way component speakers but the reviews werent good so it scared me away from them. So Im really asking how are the Lanax speakers, because at this point im returning the 2 ways made by PYLE.
