most of the reviews on the Lanzar Max subs from people that have actually used them is that they do get fairly loud, especially for the price. Hfi12s4
Memphis definitely makes a quality amp.

Just out of curiousity -- what model is your pyle?

My amp model is a PLA-2270 i believe

Well, ya i have heard if you match up the brand (headunit and back) it will sound better but probably not by much and im upgrading so it doesnt matter. Im Ordering the orion amp and the brutus sub on monday unless a few people come in and tell me they ****.

like i said before, i dont expect it to be a 1000w amp. This is why i asked about the hifonics brutus sub (500 rms) and the orion amp (500 rms).

Keep the amp and run an ED EHQS off of it. But one or 2 8"s from Tc3k101

Later on down the road step up the amp a little bit.
