ok so ive had this amp for a while pushing 2 boss (yea i know they **** didnt know wen i first bought them) and i was wondering how much am i really pushing with it???

anyway a good way to make a decent guess is by the total amps of the fuses it has

Say it has 2 - 20 amp fuses on it

that amp most likely is no more than 65% effencient

so 40 (amps) x 12 (volts) = 480 (watts) x 65% = 312 max watts

So what fuses does it have?

yea im the only one who used it got it for 120

so 12 x 80 = 960 watts x 65% = 624 max watts

I would estimate it at around 225 watts per channel RMS

you could use a Multi-Meter and find out for sure if you want.

The thing is about those lower end amps is that they clip hard and easily destroy voice coils
