pvc pipe port question

if i made a ported box and used pvc pipe for the port, could i get more port area out of one pipe by gettin a 90 degree angle fitting and bending the pipe around the inside of the box?

You can, but it would **** because airflow would not be perfect. But hey it works!

so would it just be better to go with more smaller ports?

Ive used 90* elbows in an enclosure i made.

They work fine.
