Putting stock Tape deck in

Hello, let me first say this is my first post on this forum. my proble is that I plan on putting a stock tape deck in my roomate's mom's van. It is a '93 Chrysler Town & Country and the connectors (as usual) have been cut off. What all do I need? Thanks in advance.

First you will need the harness that plugs into the radio. You should be able to get at a local junkyard or off the internet. Then you will either need a wiring diagram of said harness and a DMM or if you are lucky you may just be able to match colors to the factory wires. Then you will need to attach wires from harness to factory wiring via either butt connectors or soldiering and shrink wrap.

Ok I know I need the black and grey connectors. I noticed that chryslers also have a ground strap with an eyelet at the end that is attached to the radio housing. I think I will need that too. Also, I noticed a few of the stock radios have the wiring diagram on the the top of them, so that should help. P.S. I saw a few reverse harnesses on ebay, i'm sure that would be cheaper than the J Y.

Ok, I checked the wiring again yesterday, the eyelet at the end of the ground strap is still there so that's good.

OK I got the deck about a week ago, went to the junk yard and was able to find the harnesses. I was lucky and found them a Caravan that had the Infinity system, so it was color to color for all the wires, yay! now, I can't seem to get the ones in the door to work. One will work when it wants to, the other won't at all. Not sure what the problem is. The speakers in the door have their own bulit in amps, never seen that before. Any Ideas?

they might be bad/broke

take them out, and test them in the house.

as far as their own amps, yeah the high end systems have a stock amp.
