I got my subs wired in at 2ohm, NOLIMIT wired them for me. I got a really tight budget right now. Money is tight around me. I am looking to spend no more than 250

So how did he wire 2 dual 4ohm subs into a 2ohm load?? You can get an amp that's 1ohm stable and does 1700watts rms a lot cheaper than an amp that does 1700rms at 2ohms.

only way those subs would see a 2 ohm load is if they are wired parallel seperately. Then each would see a 2 ohm load. In which case you would be better with a 2 channel amp for simple hookup

Ok guys it has been noted on more than one occasion that power acoustik amps will not do rated power. Anyone that conducts a search on this forum will find this to be true. However, if you slap one of the amps he is referring to on an SI BM, I guarantee it is going to make quite a bit of sound and who knows, he could be like me and hand people their ***** that are running RF, Sundown, kicker, or any other "high-end" amplifiers.
It's never good to judge a book by it's price tag. I've run Power Acoustik "crap" for years and anyone that has sat in my car will tell you that hearing is definitely believing.

To the original poster, I think either amp will perform great for you.
