2 12s would be better, a large aeroport would save some room, i built an 18 with psi parts and afterwards decided I didnt want it in my trunk, had the box planned out 7 cubes net but didnt want to lose all my space and cover up my spare

no effin way would I ever recommend to anyone to put an 18" sub in the trunk of an Impala. I've tried and even built a box in the trunk. It is not optimal by a long shot. 2 12"s or a single 15" will be much happier in that space and a lot easier for you.
