Purple Shag Build. Kicker 12's with a False floor and LEDS (Old Build Log)

lol this build that i did yesterday is my friend's car. he bought some of my old c12's off of me and wanted me to do somthing stupid as hell in his trunk. i guess you gotta know this kid to acually understand him lol. he originally wanted my to cover a normal box in fuxxy pink carpet and fiberglass a set of ***** on the top of it haha. we went to the store to get the fuzzy pink and all they had was purple. and from here on out the idea just came into my head and i had to do it. i wanted to do it relativley simple but at the same time have it look good and professionally retarded. haha so heere it is. P.S... everry camera i used wouldnt pic up how bright the purple acually was and it jsut came up blue.... but it looks like barney haha

i used cardboard to make templates of the curves and cut the false floor out of 3/4.

did the same technique for all of the side panalsand used 1/8 panaling. becasue of the fuzzyness of the material it didnt have to be exactly perfect and i didnt wanna go to crazy with it being that alot of it was on my dime lol

mounted the box in place with L brackets.

this will be a plexi window ware my logo will go.

and here comes the purple!

i slapped together a little box that will go behind the plexi window and lighted it with blue Optyx LED strips. then wired them up to the trunk switch so they would be controlled as the trunk opens.

and here it is done. lol liek i said. this kids a joker and wanted something funny. and it turned out pretty bad ***. just wish the pics would have been purple.

in this pic you kinda kinda see the acually color or purple that it is....

lol and here he is... happy as hell after his car turned purple...
