rotti's are supposed to be great around children. mine LOVES children. its very strange but he treats them completely different than adults.

ummm, well we already have a Miniature Chihuahua and a 5 year old little girl so i want a dog thats good for security and be great with the rest of the family.. Anyone have any ideas or suggest any certain breeds that would be a good choice to go with?

it saves money on grooming though, just make sure you have a bagless vacuum cause you will go through a bag a week if not

my friend had an American Bulldog... bout 120lbs.. Thing was the most dominant dog I have ever met.. I would never get one.. it was very independant (i know thats partial trainers fault)... but I could have a starring contest with that thing for about 10 min. no joke...and you could tell if he was just lookin at you, or challenging you. and it drooled a ton!! we called it MUNG.. mung on the TV, mung on the walls,mung on the windows, mung on the ceiling, mung on the window curtains....horrible!!

Tosa Inu...great dogs, not friendly to people outside of the inner circle family tho. Had a Pit, totally awesome dog, died after eating chicken and rib bones out of the trash
