Pt. 2 Of My Setup: AMP NEEDED!!!

I have:

(3) JL Audio 12w3v2 DUAL 4 OHM subwoofers

SEALED ENCLOSURE - 1.25 cu. ft. per chamber

Sub Wiring: 3 DVC drivers wired in Series / Parallel for a 2.67 ohm load

Total RMS wattage: 900w

I need an amp, preferably under $250, but the lower the better, to push all 3 of these subs. I figure that a 1000x1 RMS @ 2 ohms should be perfect. The true wattage should not exceed 1200w RMS. My power is currently running at about 12.5-13.5v while the car is on (I'm working on that next).

Any and all suggestions are WELCOMED. I was advised by the local Car Tunes salesman that "all real amps go for about $1 per watt", so he's trying to sell me this JL 1000.1 for $1,000 and I laughed by self out of the store. Now I'm back to the internet for opinions from those not obsessed with big commercial brand names.

thanks, that will seem to do the job but it's a $300-$500 amp. That's over my budget. More suggestions please...

Everything comes with my amp including the birthsheet which says 1200watts at 2 ohm.

thanks. I'm going to price this at my dealer....this or the 1606 D. Hopefully I'll have it installed by the time I post again.
