i dont worship dc lol. no but really, ive heard every jl sub, and i dont like them bc they don get loud enough for me. sure the sq is great, but im an spl guy. theyre amps are stupid. they do 3ohm loads. and theyre overpriced.

I personally feel that JL's prices are ridiculous, but arguing prices is subjective. If you want JL equipment and can afford to pay for it, so be it...

Generally thats because people compare the MSRP to online prices of other competitors. When you go online and look at the prices you can actually get, its not near as bad. Not to mention their build quality is second to none. Seems pretty fair to me.

I know that you can find JL equipment at semi-reaosnable prices online, but it's "grey market". No way would I buy high-end equipment with no factory warranty. JL hates when you buy their products from unauthorized sellers. JL Audio - Car Audio Systems

I understand. The way i see it, i buy a jl amp grey market for half msrp.. the worst it can do is break, in which case i replace it and break even.

I agree i like jl stuff but it is way over priced. My friend has w7's and he swears by them but they are no where near as loud as his mtx 9500's I tried to pm you back worst enemy it says you have to many pms and cant accept n e more
