ps3 help needed

alright well i just encountered a problem with my ps3 the sound plays but no picture comes on does anybody how to solve this or has had this problem before also i have my ps3 sound hooked up to my stereo in aux mode if that helps any. thanks for any input

Turn the ps3 off with the hard switch on the back.

Then while the ps3 has the red light on hold the power button till it beeps a couple times. Keep holding it while the green light comes on. It should beep a couple more times i think then it will turn off.

So just hold the power button while it turns on and off. Then it should work

I would say take a look at the cable ends and see if the interconnect is bent or something. Then look at the port on the ps3.

Last resort borrow a friends or buy a new cable and see if it works then. If not hopefully still warrantied!

Sounds like your ps3 took a dump. Something wrong with the laser.

Its not the laser though because games play off the hard drive with ps3s. one reason they own xbox.

a ps3 is hard to "fix" your refurbished one will cost 160 bucks if it isnt in warranty anymore. and will take 10 days to get the refurbished one from sony after they recieve yours. hope this helps. if your in canada or the UK....idk.

its your video settings hook it back up the way you had it, you have to change it to match what you are switching it to.

BING! That always messes me up. Go and try this^^^
