protection light wont go off

ok so i have 2 15s in my trunk. they are dayton dvc's off parts express.com

i bought a cadence sqa-1 amp also

well everything was working fine except when the bass got to heavy like for instance when i would play t9x by tech n9ne with loud on and the subs way loud the subs would turn off and the amp lprotection light would turn on. this pissed me off for awhile but then i just learned dont have it up that loud haha

but the other day, i hit a bump really hard going about 40 and the subs turned off. i just turned off and reset the cd player by turning my car off and back on and it didnt work like i thought it would the protection light wont go off either.. its on everytime its turned on.

from reading around ive gotten the idea that unplugging everything and plugging everything back in would fix this is this true? how could i blow a fuse or whatever just by going over a bump?? that was long lol so thanks for reading and hopefully u can help.. its hell without subs haha

probably had a loose connection + not secured down. amp is probably shot. UNHOOK THE BATTERY and recheck all the wires.

sounds like its shot and why would you spend a shitload of money on that set up?

you guys are spending more time making smartass comments than actually helping me. but for those of u who actually helped thanks

and well then the problem is simply in the amp? ill unplug all the cords and hook everything back up.. see if that fixes it.. but ****.

and well if thats not a very good setup then please tell me what a good amp would be for those subs

You're set up is fine, if you're happy with it then thats all that matters.

If you still have problems after you check all your connections, just call the manufacturer and maybe send the amp in for service.
