Proper Box Dimensions

So I've been told that the dimensions of the sub box varry from model. I got 2 eclipse SW8010 10". the manual says that for ported enclosures, the dimensions should be:

Recomended Internal Enclosure Volume-- 2.0 FT/sq -- or-- 3.0 FT/sq

Internal height------------------------- 18.5" or 21.5

Internal Width-------------------------- 12.5" or 12.5

internal Depth ------------------------ 20" or 25"

the two boxes I am considering buying are

10" W 24.25" H 11.13" D 14.0" .66 cu. ft per side

or

28.75 wide x 12.38 high x 19.5 deep

6.5 Mounting Depth

.75 cu. ft. air space

Does it matter if they dont match the recomended measurements?

It doesn't matter if they match dimensions, it just matters if the airspace is correct and the tuning is correct.
