Looks good, I rented a never camry and like it, even the 4 banger had good power and it felt solid as you said. Only thing I did not care for way the cheap feeling dash but a lot of cars seem to be that way now.

Yes my take is to spend money on my home since that money has the potential to come back to me in spades. Cars are just liabilities, plain and simple. If I had enough money, I would have a good collection of them, but otherwise, meh.

This is a 4-banger as well and I am pleased with it's power while in motion, but the low end torque is still non-existent.

Well, I may consider a nice alloy, but I don't like chrome period as a wheel. I like black wheels and would consider something nice in black for it.

Yes, but I get employee discounting on GM and don't buy cars as investments. Buying for resale is beyond stupid IMO.

employee discounting would probably offset the cost of the steeper depreciation

I'm glad you dont buy cars as investments, but anything I spend money on I see as an investment. Just my opinion, but Foreign built cars are far superior in both build quality, durability, and reliability....

Depends on the car, new BMWs and Mercedes are extremely unreliable, in fact they are some of the most unreliable cars on the market. I also think it's stupid to look at cars as investments, my theory is buy a car, run it until it's dead then buy a new one, 5 years without car payments saves you more than a good resale value.

Black that's way to go that's what i plan to do on my truck! Nice set of black o black 22's. i will have to get the lip painted black cause they don't make many black on black rims!!!

Resale is higher on foreign, no doubt about that and seem to last longer, but really are people still stuck on that? I guess majority of people still buy cars as investments? Just to sell it to not lose much money on them? Meh, I don't care about that. And I go through cars quite often, although I am getting out of that stage in my life, thank god. Saving money is good, but really It just depends. Hell I traded my cavalier on my Focus I have now and I owed 4900 for it and they gave me 4700 for it on trade in and put the extra 200 on my Focus. So did alright with that. I lost 200 bucks, so what! Sold an S10 that I bought new for 17,200 a few years ago that blue booked for 13,500and got 12,700 for it. It just depends in most cases.
