I'd like to suggest using Trupane as opposed to MDF. It is a type of MDF that is lighter. IMO it cuts nicer as well. When building large panels and what not the lighter weight is kind of nice.

price per sheet?

im prally not gonna use it though, as its most likely more (like birch) and im not concerned about weight in this car...

Its similar in price to MDF and its not like birch. I find it here at the local lumber yard where they refer to it as MDF. There was a thread about trupane a while back let me try and find it for ya.
