a 4.6 is a better motor than the 5.0 anyway.I figured I'd need something mean behind those nice foglights... hah. I ended up getting a cobra front because I like the integrated fog look of it, and caught a lot of shit from guys saying I was trying to build a clone, so why not go bigger than the usual clone of a 4.6l...
the majority of the 4.6's are not dohc...the cobra motors were, not the gt's, trucks, etc etc..id play it cheap and simple and stick with the 302.the 5.0 has more bolt ons but the 4.6 is still a nice engine. with some PI heads. both are good motors just personal opion. i would rather have my 4.6 just kuz it is a DOHC and i like it

youre correct..the jaguar xjr has the modular motor aswell, even when the cobras went fi, the jaguar did too.My mark's 4.6 is dohc...

If your gonna do a engine rebuild on that 5.0, I'd reccomend GT-40 heads..and some other goodies.
