lol how and where did you mount a second YT? I was told i could redo the air intake and run a second YT on the other side like most diesel trucks do but idk. Also do you have any pics of your big 3? id like to get some ideas on how easy/hard this upgrade will be. Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Oh, and btw my alt only costed $175 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

If your interior is the same as mine....

I had to use an angle grinder and cut out the bottom of that seat, and pull some foam out, but it looks factory and no one would find it there.

I dont have any pics of my big 3, but I can get some. Its ALOT easier to use an Optima that has the side terminals also, so you can use ring terminals on all your heavy guage wire and put them on the side post.

Make sure you fab an upper alt bracket if the OE doesn't work. I ran my upgraded case alt without a top bracket and it eventually snapped the lower mounting bolts. Not a fun fix on the side of the road.

Dang that sux, yes the custom alt is the same case as my original 130 amp alt just with a bigger stater, regulator, ect... So my top bracket will work with this new alt. It will just be a direct bolt on.

Yea, idk if you can see from the pics but the one i have under the hood has side terminals also. Got any build pics of puttin that xtra YT in? lol And yes i would like to see how you did your big 3 esp since there is like 1000 gnds under my hood lol i want to see which ones you replaced with bigger wire and how well has it worked out for you? Have you had any voltage problem?

I did have bad voltage issues, I ran a run of 1/0 ground wire, back to the 2nd battery, then from the 2nd battery to the amp, and it stopped all of my voltage issues.

Guess our chassis isnt very conductive.

Pics in a few

Hmm, i hope i dont have any voltage issues. So far with just the YT and no Big 3 or HO Alt yet i still have only a .2 volt drop on 1200watts rms at about %80 up. (which is the highest i have ever turned my amp up i dont wanna clip the subs or anything).
