If you do decide to seal it... they need almost no space sealed. Just slap a back plate on that box and that'll probably be enough for them!

have you played one of these yet? im curious as to how it would sound as a dedicated midbass driver.

there was talk about it on the sundown forum, but jacob seemed to shy away from it, since it is designed as a subwoofer. I haven't tested it yet, but I got the box finished now (except for detail like paint ect) Waiting for the glue to cure overnight.

Tomorrow I will try to get these boys in, and tonight I will try to wire my batteries and amps.

The biggest down-side to using these as a dedicated mid-bass is the low 1w/1m sensitivity. In order to get the most low-end output as a subwoofer driver it ended up with a low sensitivity - just a law of speaker design, can't have small box, lots of low-end, and high sensitivity all at once //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
