Anyways, whats all this talk about a 18sx? For $150 you guys are saying you can put it in a HUGE box and send it crazy watts and it will handle it? Sounds very tempting to me.

Results:

Earthquake D2 wired for 4 ohm load:

70 Hz tone: 138.5 dB

60 Hz tone: 142.9 dB

55 Hz tone: 145.8 dB

53 Hz tone: 146.9 dB (peak)

40 Hz tone: 141.1 dB

Earthquake D2 wired for 1 ohm load:

70 Hz tone: 140.1 dB

60 Hz tone: 144.9 dB

55 Hz tone: 147.7 dB

54 Hz tone: 148.3 dB (peak)

40 Hz tone: 142.6 dB "

We could most-likely do 152-153's with a single 12" on that mic...

the old termlab is up about 6~8db from the sensor, at least thats what i have seen.
