mmm i seee!!! I'm going to look into it. Hopefully i can get a compressor, don't wanna pay to rent or buy one.the 2nd one.
the pad, and the shaft the pad is connected to both rotate randomly...sometimes if you block or hand sand you'll have deep scratches from one part of the paper being rubbed in the same spot repeatedly..this pretty much eliminates that happening..worthy investment imo
What my question is now is.....Can i then OVER bondo and sand down to the shape i want???
I wasn't really doing it for the purpose of build up. It would more b to get alll the bondo work out the way, then let it dry, n just sand smooth. You can, but you need to use kitty hair, bondo hair, or any glass reinforced filler for thick buildups. It's stronger than regular filler, and is less likely to crack. Regular filler in thick patches, is just asking for trouble later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
hey man. get an ELECTRIC ORBITAL SANDER. dont mess with air stuff. sure they are more powerful, but they are noisy, you gotta oil them, the run out of air etc. electric just goes onnn and onnn. i cant believe your doing all that by hand lol. i could have it all sanded in 2 nights with an electric
