whats the difference between the profile clarus 1200 and the califonia 1200???

and do these amps put out thier rated power(900 rms)?

claurs is the higher class of the 2......and yes the put out their rated power....

The difference i can see i that the clarus has a 18db bass boost and the ca only 12db and the clarus use 3x30a fuses and the ca uses 4x25a fuses... many other little features in the cl like a subsonic filter i think.. mine (Cl600) has one...

I also think you get a better signal to noise ratio with the Clarus aswell.

wll i think im gonna go w/ the profile cl800 for my sub amp when i have the cash.....needless to say.....one of the better bang for the buck amps....

Mike i thougth you were gona use a jbl 600.1 oh well at least you will have 2 profile amps so they match..... why not a JAM 600.2 ?

Profile puts out the rated power and has a *very* clean sound. The only complaint I have about them is their reliability, since in my experience they tend to roast after a few months.
