Ugh .... The design //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif One has a phase plug , the other does not. That's it.

The Profi Kick is a completely different beast though .....

Phase plug driver tend to be more midrange orientated, snappier midbass. The standard driver has a bit fuller sound on the lower side and as good midrange you can typically get from a full coned driver. Both use a treated paper cone, so overall texture/tonality of sound are familiar. If you are an SQ purist and crave every hint of detail and space around the intruments, the profi phase plug is a very nice choice.
