Trupan is just a lighter, more expensive version of MDF.

BTW, I cleared my PM's. Also, email is a good way to get ahold of me.

more expensive... but does it work better?? louder?? doubtful
Sure there are beneits to using it. Its much lighter in weight, which is the biggest thing you will notice. From my standpoint, its a lot easier on my bits and tools. Is it going to sound any different? Not if it is built right.

almost double? dont sound like its worth it 2 me ill stick 2 MDF
Im confused... you are looking for a builder, but it appears you do your own builds?

Anyways, you have to look past the original cost of the material. Trupan is about 30 lbs less per sheet. On average, I save around 20 lbs per box. That saves on shipping, and allows me to ship larger enclosures (DHL wont ship over 150 lbs).

Also, I had mentioned it is easier on bits and blades. I change table saw blades maybe twice a year. Some of the bits have been in my routers for 2-3 years. With my build technique, some of the routers have to be set up EXACTLY. If not, the panels will not go together properly, if at all. If I dont have to change bits every month, that saves me a lot of time throughout the life of a bit, not to mention, router bits are not cheap.

By saving time and weight, I can save the customer that extra money he spent on the material. So all in all, it all equals out really. If I were to switch over to MDF for my builds tomorrow, I can guarantee you, my prices would not change. The cost of the wood just does not play a large enough role.

that THUMPPER makes a **** good box IMO,they really stand out against

other products as far as performance is concerned

an enclosure builder is only as good as his own system and he has the lowest

and hardest hitting 10" woofers I have ever seen

no offence to anyone else
