What's going on good folks at Caraudio dot commm, first time posting here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Anyways, here's my problem. I bought a sub amp bundle about 2 1/2 years ago. Here is the link for the bundle, it's discontinued, but here you go www dot sonicelectronix dot com/item_28425_1200W-Complete-Hifonics-Kenwood-Bass-Package.html So I bought that, my friend installed it in my 96 ford contour, and for the past 2 1/2 years, they have worked beautifully //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Now about a month I got a 2006 ford Taurus, and I decided to switch everything over, yesterday the same friend helped install it. Everything seems to work fine, except that I can barley hear them. So I go to the trunk, look at the speakers, and they vibrate like crazy monkeys, but I can barley hear them. I thought maybe if I turn them aroundwz, I would be able to hear them, guess what? NOPE. So I thought adjusting the radio eq or the settings on the amp might change something, NOOOOOOOPEEE. After that I laid down on the cement and cried myself to sleep due to mass failure :'(
Now, when I had the subs in my contour, I could barley hear myself speak when they were on, and my mirrors would shake, in the Taurus, I hear crappy baby bass. I'm a man of bass. I can't be having crappy baby bass, I need awesome manly man bass.
So I just really have no idea what it could be, I thought id check on the forum before I go to an audio shop, thanks people!
