problems with sub output

i have 2 12s in separate sealed enclosures both subs facing the rear of the vehicle,now when my trunk is cracked opened the bass is much better than it is when its closed what could be the problem.

There is no problem... less pressure on the cone.

not all the way open just cracked i think im getting some cancellation somewhere so im gona move the subs around a bit see what happens
