do u have an external amp?

Another Problem!!

My head unit keeps flickering on and off, but the music still works.

The person installing it blew the10 amp fuse so he put in a 40 a fuse. it was working fine, but then later in the night, when i got in after an hour of bumping, it started flickering. weird this is if i just press on the face plate it brights up, if i move it around it will dim. whats going on?

also alot of weird noises from the front, but everything else is ok.

whats going on?

it pretty snug. but when i press the button in to get the sub-w level, it dims. Its didnt do it in the begining, just now. Also, my front speaker has some static, and my back on the right flicks some tick, I dont know whats up really. Its this same problem thats killing my system.

so change it back to 10 a, should i find another ground also. did i rca ground my front speaker. Alot of people have the same problem, and there really is no solution??

someone help me out with the technical term here, but the face plate has metal prongs that plug in when attached. make sure that the contacts on the deck and face plate aren't bent or damaged. i bought a deck on ebay for 3 bucks once and that was the only problem. the faceplate wasn't contacting the deck because the ones on the deck were bent.
