problem with new system

okay so i put a sub into my bug and everythign worked fine yesterday. then i go to try it today and the amp wont turn on

the only way it will turn on os if i push down on one of the RCA cables

and when that hapens i hear faint music but every 3 seconds it burps..........what the hell happened?

check fuses? wiring? ground? any number of problems really

ill check the ground again, but the weird part is why does it only work when i push down on the RCAs
