Problem with Headlights

Ok, the other day I realised that both of my headlights were really dim when they were on the low beams. When I turned on my brights, only one of the headlights worked, but it was its normal brightness. After that I wiggled a wire in the back of the bulb that wasn't working on the brights and it went on. However when I turned on my lows again the one htat I just wiggled was on the normal brightness but the other one was completly out. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong. btw, I have a 1994 ford escort LX.

x2 on what jdawg said. You could also trying checking the ground for the headlight's also.

how hard would it be to check the ground ie where would it be?

also check the sockets going to the bulbs.

In Cavaliers and sunfires, a broken wire in he harness behind the bumper is really common.
