problem with friends modded amp

at the event today in oswego i set my friends gains, i had to turn the gain all the way up to achieve 48vac. When he first got his amp I didnt have to hardly turn the gain up. Is there a problem with his amp???

It was a modded custom fuzion amp, model #??? He had it benched at 1ohm and it was rated at 2300wrms@1ohm. The first time I set the gain like 2 months ago I barley moved the gain, today I had to move it almost all the way to max. Is it broke? it's a fusion amp....probly ur answer as to why it's not doing its rated power

sounds fuc kd up to me if you tested it to do that voltage first with lo gain, now all the sudden its doing it with gain@max.

never heard of a modded fusion amp. how was it modded, and what did it do?

supposedly (sp) the manufacture customized it for him. I dont even know if it has a model number, it has that ugly green color with the white color too. He didnt do that well i think he hit 138.9 or so. Like I said its weird. I guess he'll just have to send it back to fuzion.
