ok i have an alpine cda-9827 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500CDA9827/Alpine-CDA-9827.html?tp=5684&tab=features_and_specs
and a clarion eqs746 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6655_Clarion+EQS746.html?gclid=CLCMzKeo8pgCFQITswodpXW60w
the clarion only has 2 sets of input. one main and one auxilary. the alpine has 3 preouts front, rear, and sub. how would i run my sub through the eq? or would it be better to just run it off the h/u? i tried running the front pre outs from the alpine to the main in on the eq and run the sub from the eq but whenever i touch the sub knob on the eq the sub knocks real loud and bangs and stops and bangs more. everything is grounded out properly. big 3 is done. i currently am running the sub from the h/u. and the front preouts on the the h/u to the eq and then the front and back preouts from the eq to the highs amp for all my highs
