Problem,95 firebird no trunk

I have a 95 pont firebird,it's a hatchback...well sort of. I got a snag here,I have no trunk to fire sub's into. Would faceing sub's up and tward front of car be capble lot's of low bass? Or should they fire off the back window to try and echo like a trunk? Any one got one of these car's what sub's sound good in them?

f bodys are easy..

build the box flush from the rear hatch forward, and into the cavity at the back of the car..

fire woofers and port upward into the glass, position them at the rear of the box

what size of subs you goin to put in there, and what kind? because you can only get like 2.5 cubes out of the well of the car.

you can get 3.2 cubes out of an fbody well

Yup. Audioenhancers makes a couple real nice boxes for dual 10's or 12's for the rear well. The biggest box they make for it is 3.00 total cubic feet.

Yea point them towards my glass, its so easy to make a fbody loud...

i have one mtx8000 and a old alpine amp pushing maybe 250 watts and it was loud.

Yup... I've got a Camaro and Firebird... camaro has 2 - 12", Firebird I ordered the box blank with no holes cut... I cut my own hole for a single 15".

Some advice... if you have the means, order the box direct with the baffle board uninstalled (loose)... add some internal bracing, then install the baffle board.

Man, if the enclosure company will do what Gary said, make up your mind as to what you are going to install and go to town.

i would just build a box for it and safe a bunch of money instead of ordering one they arent that hard to build, i built one for my camaro and got 2 15's in the hatch but i used like the hole hatch i ended up gettin 6.5 cubes... if ya want to check it out go to http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2303185

I can get like 4-6 cubes....depending how much of the rear trim pannel's I cut out.

omg..haha my friend had a camaro we put one DD3512 in about a 3.5 ft enclosure custom built for that trunk with a massive straight port tuned to 40 hz

it was a kick *** setup........amazing infact make sure to face it up towards that back glass. Its so easy to make that car loud. (but soooooooooooooo man rattles in that car)

Which way should they be? Straight up,would face back glass and that flat plastic thing on hatch. Or should they face up on a angle foward and tward back glass?
