how would I hook up LED lights in my trunk to go with like the bass of the music? I've seen videos were the lights get bright up with the bass and I was just wondering how on earth they do that?

Run em off a speaker or speaker outputs on an amp.

there are actual lights that come in a kit that are made to specifically do that iirc...

not sure... not too worried about LED's...
