ok, see i was under the impression that good midbass will be almost as loud as your subs..only higher frequ. shows you how info on here is taken sometimes.

hey how many watts are you guys running them at? I just got one side in and I put 300rms to it and crossed over at 80hz it seems to make popping noise out of the woofer when bass hits. I had to lower the gain on them to make them stop.

I had the same thing, I now run 150 per side with no issues.

you should be able to cross them around 80hz. most mids can take an 80hz xover pt.

yea, i am toying with them right now, running 300rms per side im not sure how much they will like it

i'm sure those bostons should be able to handle 300. also remember your speakers won't be seeing rated output of the amp most of the time. so having that extra headroom will bring out some dynamics. headroom rules!!

the max rating on them is 250....i cant believe people are throwing 300+ at them daily, and sounding good. Im really thinkin about getting some now. Im going to have to figure out how to make them fit in my kicks now...the cutout is to big for them right now.

I personally ran 425watts per side to my old MB Quart Premiums - which is a similar speaker. They are rated at 110 rms. I sold those speakers after about 1.5 years and they still looked new and sounded new when I sold them. Power will not kill your speakers YOU WILL!!!

Im guessing it does 300x2@3ohm since it does 200x2@4ohm and 400x2@2ohm. Same as your orion bama.
